About
I am a Danish-Italian artist with a background in Architecture and Performing Arts. I create and think across media, from sculptural installation to video, sound, and performance. Through practices of attentive listening and attunement to both the body and the environment, my creative work takes form in the attempt to reveal and make felt what often remains unnoticed. I craft environments addressing the sensory body, inviting the audience to shift the experience of being, both within oneself and in relation to the other, being that human, more than human or a place. Through the work, I attempt to open up spaces to reimagine the known and suggest an intimate and empathic way of relating.
I hold a Bachelor from Aarhus School of Architecture (Denmark, 2016) and a Masters of Fine Art in Performing Arts from Iceland University of the Arts (Iceland, 2019).
I am a co-founder of
Celestial Bodies (2019), an itinerant platform dedicated to opening spaces to explore meanings and practices of solidarity, care, empathy, and wonder.
Ker (2022), an association that promotes art that emerges in dialogue with the rural context and creates opportunities for artistic research that have the land, agriculture, ecology, and community at their core.
